Lookout Point will be hosting a couple’s retreat on October 2nd through October 4th. The couples; retreat will be facilitated with humor and insight by experts in relationships, communication, and listening: Dr. Mike and Dr. Georjean Renquist.
This three day retreat will help create space in a romantic setting for you and your partner to grow in love and understanding. You will refresh your interaction with your partner through: focusing on individual differences (using behavior/communication styles inventory), exploring more effective communication skills (speaking, listening), and practicing simple exercises to enhance the language of love as seen in appropriate words of affirmation, gifts, touch and serving.
In addition to intentional learning, you’ll experience comprehensive pampering and time for just the two of you with: a candlelight dinner at the inn on Friday evening, complete picnic for just the two of you on Saturday, choice of a couples’ massage, boat tour of Lake Hamilton, or horseback riding, gourmet breakfast both mornings, picnic backpack to take home, stocked with wonderful surprises, a spa basket for enjoying your ensuite whirlpool tub, and your romantic room with awesome view of Lake Hamilton.

We currently serve a delicious gourmet breakfast each morning and wine, crackers, and dessert every afternoon at our innkeepers reception. We are delighted to introduce our new dining service available for guests from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 a.m.. We offer guests soups, salads, and sandwiches. Guests may choose from a chicken salad sandwich on a toasted croissant or a hot grilled ham and cheese sandwich on wheat bread. We also offer white and red wine and our housemade brownie of the day.
